Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress and filmmaker in the US. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie is evident in her long-lasting career as an actor and actress. Her career began as a model in the 1970s and soon became one of the most well-known models. In the next decade she studied theatre and acting before making appearances on stage on stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Her first screen appearance was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable In the show, she appeared as Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut film. Some critics initially doubted her ability as an actor however her steady performances won them over. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak where she held her own against the likes as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However, according to her own statements, she never was passionate about the role. She self-imposed a long absence in the year 2005. The reason she returned was her role in Thor. Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. Her journey began in the amateur ranks, participating at various regional competitions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining in the UFC in 2011 she was famous thanks to the popularity she achieved both inside and outside of Octagon. Namajunas was born on the 29th of June 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships is her debut professional bout. She was just 18 and had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, aged 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Throughout Rose her career, she's been through periods of highs and lows but each victory has been hers. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. She was awarded the Women's Strawweight Championship and was also named the Fighter of The Night. It was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion in a title fight. Namajunas kept winning other victories, including 2 wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
